Vamos!

Our friends the Prices were running the Study Abroad program for BYU in Spain this fall semester so we decided to take advantage and visit them in Spain. It was the first overseas trip for our kids and we were excited to plan out a full itinerary. The kids' schools have some flexible policies for make up work, so were able to take them out of school for a week in addition to the normal week of Thanksgiving holidays. We all decided on a few priorities for the trip (Katie and I wanted good food, art, and architecture, Davin wanted beaches and churros, Rowan and Ellie wanted to see museums and play). We mapped out a two week adventure to hit all of these things, planning a few days each in Valencia, Madrid, Segovia/Toledo, Cordoba, Seville, and Granada. It was an ambitious agenda, but not so crazy we wouldn't have some down time to just enjoy the atmosphere and relax.
