Georgia Aquarium

BYU played Georgia Tech this year and we felt it was our duty to support our team. We made the trip with our good friends, the Ashtons. I have never been to Atlanta and I was excited to explore the city. We headed to Atlanta after attending our ward Halloween party and arrived late at night. The next day we headed for the city center to attend the game and visit the city. We started our day at the Georgia Aquarium, which was close to the stadium. The aquarium was amazing and we had a great visit! Chris, Rowan, Davin, Tess, Steve, and Nate playing at a touch pool. Albino alligators, Davin's favorites! Nate's wonder Dolphin tank Beluga whales playing in their tank

Murder Mystery

Our Halloween celebrations started with our annual adult party. "Murder Mystery" was the theme and we celebrated the "whodunnit" contribution to Halloween culture. Chris and I chose Maltese Falcon , a film noir classic with Humphrey Bogart, as our inspiration for our costumes. Our guests looked great in their "mystery" themed costumes. We are lucky to have friends who are such good sports and willing to be a little goofy with us each year. We played a "Clue" game where we deduced who among us was the murderer, where the deed was done, and with what weapon. It was a fun night!

Dolphins!

Pete and Amanda suggested that we do a dolphin cruise and it was the highlight of our trip. We drove to downtown Destin to catch the boat. The trip was two hours and included all you could drink (which was not much for us). We saw plenty of dolphins, a jumping stingray, parasails, WWII airplanes, and the sun sinking into the water at sunset.  Pete and Sawyer The deck hand making sure we all have a good time! The Faleschinis We see dolphins!  Rowan driving the boat! Davin driving the boat! A pirate boat ominously off the bow WWII aircraft More dolphins swimming in the wake of the boat Back to Destin!

Relaxation

The condo had a beautiful pool and patio set-up overlooking the bay, which included two hot tubs and several grills. We had a great time swimming, cooking dinner, and letting the kids play while we enjoyed the view.  Our lovely friends, the Faleschinis
