One of the hallmark events for Fruit Heights, my hometown, is Founder's Day. It really wasn't a big deal when I was a kid but the event grew as my dad served in the city council and the mayor. This was the first year that he wasn't the mayor and while we missed seeing him serve cotton candy to the kids in the city, it was fun to be able to enjoy the event with him. The kids loved the free train and bounce houses, treats, fire trucks, and other fun events. We had a great time hanging out with Jeremy, Haley, Nora, and little Wren. The boys loved the cool face painting but Ellie's favorite was playing with her balloon. Happy 75th Fruit Heights!
