Davin, Chris, and I have been to Boston once before but it for a business conference that I attended and it was in the middle of December, so our experience was pretty limited. We were excited to go back to the city and get a better view of it. The weather was significantly better and we had a great time walking around the streets. It really does feel like a big neighborhood, which is something I really enjoyed, and I hope that we can go back and explore again.
We started our day at the USS Constitution. Unfortunately the boat was closed but we were still able to visit the neat museum and learn more about what life on the boat was like (including a rather graphic description of amputations in the kids section...).

Not a bad bed! I think Davin could be a sailor!

Rowan too!
We were ready to see if Boston's pizza rivals New Haven's and it was pretty close. We enjoyed a great meal at Regina's, a Boston favorite.

Does this have dairy or soy in it? Cause if it does, I can't eat it. :)
After lunch we hit the Freedom Trail. Not feeling up to walking the entire trail, we saw a few highlights somewhere in the middle. Rowan loved following the red bricks around the city!

Of course we had to try the pastries and gelato in Boston as well. Mike's Pastry was our favorite!
