One of my favorite holidays in Utah is the 4th of July and it's been awhile since we've been in Utah to enjoy it. The day started with an early morning fishing trip and Rowan was in heaven.
Later in the afternoon we went to Aunt Pauline and Uncle Calvin's house for a cookout. It was fun to see family and celebrate together. We finished the evening with fireworks and then went home to watch fireworks on Grandma and Grandpa's deck. It was a great day to celebrate the blessing of living in our country!
We headed to Kaysville for the annual 4th of July parade and it was a good one! It didn't matter what floats or bands were in the parade as this parade is a candy fest and the boys came home with a good haul. I made this little hat for Ellie ($1 hat from Target with some ribbon that I found in Mom's craft room) and she loved it! I'll admit it was kind of fun to shoot it all day...
